This year I will offer another High Atlas trek.
We will climb Jebel Toubkal, with 4167m the highest mountain in North Africa. We will do this starting in the village of Ijoukak, following one of the lesser known tracks in the area.
The total duration of the trip is 10 days, including arrival and departure in Marrakesh and 7 walking days.
This trip is starting on the 6th of september in Marrakech and ends here as well on the 15th of september, and is guaranteed to start.
Program:
Day 1:
Arrival in Marrakesh. You will get picked up on the airport and depending on you arrival time have some time to get lost in the souks of Marrakech. In the evening we will have dinner together.
Day 2:
We start the day with a transfer to Ijoukak. The drive will take about 2 hours, and from there will do a short hike to explore the suroundings and get acclimatised.
Day 3 to 8:
Trekking tour. During this 5 day trek we will traverse the High Atlas, starting in Ijoukak and arriving in Imlil, on the way we will climb Jebel Toubkal.
We will sleep with in local mountain huts and some nights camp in tents.
Walking times will be between 5 and 7 hours. And altitude differences of up to 1200m.
Day 9:
Today we drive back to Marrakech in the morning. In the afternoon there will be free time to explore Marrakesh, or relax.
Day 10:
Flight back to Marrakech. Of course you’re welcome to stay a little longer, I will be very happy to advise you.
The price is € 950,- per person. And includes all accomodation, 3 meals a day, transport and of course guides and luggage transport.
It does not include your flight, drinks and tips.
